ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE Santorini! I had the opportunity to visit with a group of friends while I was on exchange in Poland a couple of years ago, and if you go before tourist season starts (we went in April), it can be surprisingly cheap! We managed to stay in a hostel (best hostel I've been in considering it was one or two beds per room, daily cleaning service, and basically looked like a regular hotel room minus a tv) for only 11 euros a night and rented scooters for only 12 euros a day! It was also perfect weather - not incredibly hot, but that perfect middle where we could sit out in the sun for hours at a time, get a tan, and still be wonderfully comfortable. And there were hardly any people there! The one draw back was that the main beaches were closed, and the water was a little chilly, but there were still plenty of beaches and areas to lay out in the sun. It was an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life! You definitely need to go visit!
